Registration

Due to the high demand of our classes and studio, we have open enrollment for our regular dance year one time a year in August. After classes fill up you will be place on our wait-list. After classes start, if within the first month a spot becomes open we will contact students on the wait-list. Unfortunately, after the first month we will not accept new students due to classes missed. We want to ensure all our students feel comfortable with routines and do not feel behind. After our winter vacation is over, if there are new openings for spring, we will again contact people on our wait-list. You may fill out the registration at any point of the dance year to be added to our wait-list. Once the dance year is over in June, we will clear out the list and start fresh for the upcoming year.

Class Levels ...​

Below are suggested ages for each class level. Depending on the students abilities and other factors will determine the class level they are placed in.

 

​Grown Up & Me MIMPACS                         
Age 2 years. A 45 minute combination class including tap, song & dance, and basic tumbling with emphasis on creative movement. During this class your little dancer will learn important skills such as helping develop their imagination, help developing fine and gross motor skills, taking turns and following directions, learn rhythm and musicality. Student must be 2 years old by the first day of class and able to walk. This class is a grown Up and Me class. By the end of the dance year, most children will be confident enough to move up to the next level, which is dance class without the grownup in the dance room.

 

Supply list: pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, leotard & tights of any color.

Boys: sweat pants or shorts and a t-shirt.
  
Mini MIMPACS
Ages 3-4 years.  A 45 minute class that includes tap, ballet, and Basic tumbling. Children at this age will learn basic dance steps in tap and ballet. This  class will enhance their basic motor skills and improve coordination. During Tap class your child will absorb rhythm, beat, and timing to music. Ballet class will improve balancing skills, poise, grace and musicality. Your child will also learn important dance vocabulary they will need throughout their dance years.

​Majestic MIMPACS
Ages 5-7 years. An hour and 15 minute class that includes a combination of tap, ballet, jazz and tumbling. When a child reaches the age of seven, he or she will begin learning the proper technique for each dance genre. These classes are based more on skill and comprehension level, than age. During this class we focus on learning proper dance technique for those who are ready such as isolation of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms .

Boys: sweat pants or shorts and a t-shirt, black ballet shoes, black jazz shoes & black tap shoes. 



​Magnificent MIMPACS
Ages 8-10 years. An hour and 15 minute to an hour and a half class that includes a combination of tap, ballet, jazz and tumbling. In this class we will build on the skills learned during previous levels. We will focus on developing movement sequences and learning more detailed combinations. 

​

Boys: sweat pants or shorts and a t-shirt, black ballet shoes, black jazz shoes & black tap shoes. 



​Marvelous MIMPACS
Ages 11-17 years. A two hour class that includes a combination of tap, jazz and tumbling. Ballet class is taught on a separate day and will be one and half hours for the class. Throughout this class we will start to incorporate lyrical and contemporary dance. We will continue to add new steps, jumps and combinations to their repertoire.

​Madam MIMPACS
Ages 18 & up. Each session we offer one adult class each week. To offer variety to our adult dancers we will change the type of dance class each session.

Mighty MIMPACS

Miracles in Motion has started a new journey with our competition teams. Students 5 years old and up who would like to compete in competition will be by invitation only. This invitation, requested by Ms. Julie, will be based on skill level, dedication, commitment and hard work in his or her regular class. Once selected they will have extra weekend practices until competition. Practices for competition are mandatory. There will be addition fees for students going to competition. However, the studio will offer a few fundraisers students can participate in to cover their fees.
